It was the most coveted event of the school : Science exhibition 2020. Students, from all over the state, mushroomed the entire park displaying projects of vivid colors. Some students were anxious, some were serious while some were with a smiley face. But what's common in everyone was the urge to explain their project to the chief guest who was about to arrive around 10 AM. Usually it's a norm to welcome the guest with garland of flowers & huge applause, but that day it didn't happen. The chief guest was late. Around 11.30 AM the guest, Mr. Das, a senior researcher from CSIR, arrived on a car & came straight to visit the stalls avoiding the formal welcoming gesture from school authorities. Who doesn't like a good story ? When you are a child you get stories from your grand parents, in your boyhood you get stories from Television & in your adolescence you are literally bombarded with Movies & TV series. I myself watched around 700 films only in engineering & I have heard people who have crossed 2000 mark too. So what's so special about stories that resonates so well with everyone despite all our differences ? Flavour. In desi language, Masala. Only a handful of people truly knew what happened to Sanjay Dutt untill "Sanju" released in theaters & whole India started googling about the Incident. I doubt even our parents knew about Titanic. But now that James Cameron directed "Titanic" with pitch perfect fictionalization, whole world knows the what, when & how related to that incident.  Nobody is a fan of Doordarshan when it comes to news.   There is never a time when I have not enjoyed Math. Atleast that was my idea when i was in class 10. Then I came to +2 & faced a chapter called "permutation & combination" which gave me a blow hard enough to snatch my earlier idea. I hated it from top to bottom. Later on I faced "probability" in 2nd year which made me feel even worse. Somehow I was successful in consoling myself that I was still good in math especially in "relation & function" which holds an elite reputation among all chapters.  When I joined CET for B-Tech I was in ecstasy because I no longer have to frustrate myself with probability again. But my joy lasted for a year when I came to know that in GATE exam there is rarely a time when a question from probability is not asked. It was hard to digest. I woke up from bed without inspiration. My mind took me into my past. The good old days so to speak. It took me a while to get over that feeling of past. "Let's do some programming" I thought. YouTube is a mysterious place. You never know what YouTube algorithm is going to recommend you. That's why you never know how the coming hours of your day is going to be like. It can be literally anything around the globe that could catch your attention. It can be "Brett Lee's fastest delivery", it can be "kapil sharma's latest comedy", it can be "a controversial debate in republic tv", it can be "a singer who went viral" or it can be "Sadhguru's philosophy". I was dreaming in my sleep. I don’t recall the subject matter but I am sure it was a pleasant dream. “Cring Cring……..Cring Cring” my phone rings which I have placed at a distance far away from arms length.   It all started in the first year of engineering while watching TWILIGHT, the vampire story. I downloaded all the 5 movies, watched them in 2 days & loved them. Although I was not satisfied with the last 2 parts, I loved the setting, the breezy atmosphere & the romantic scenes. After watching them I felt something I had never felt before. I was in love with Bella right from the first movie until one my friend told me that the actress is a lesbian, then I had kind of a mixed feeling about her. But I loved the movies nevertheless. I was so infatuated in love that I started googling about the films for more details. That’s when I knew that these films were all based on a series of fantasy novels by Stephanie Meyer. Before that I had no prior knowledge of any sort on what a novel is or why to even bother to read them. But that’s the day something changed in me. Then I moved to Amazon & I was overwhelmed by the amounts & varieties of novels I found there. I spent hour...

Step 1 :  Pick a book of your interest. Step 2 :  Grab a seat where nobody disturbs you.    Step 3 :  Start reading...word by word, sentence by sentence, page by page. Step 4 :  Finish the book  Step 5 : Bring another book & Recycle this process REGULARLY. That's how you become a lifetime reader... You see....it's simple..
