"Consistency is the key" you have heard this before. But when it comes to reading I think it's a bit different. There are many areas where one needs to be consistent. Exercise, working, eating, sleeping, cleaning your home etc. But reading is not one of them. It's quite a chill hobby in that regard. The way I see, reading is best when you feel like reading, just like taking a hot shit in toilet when you feel like taking one. Then that kind of reading is far more enriching than doing it regularly where it feels like a mechanical process. Stephen King, the great american horror writer, once said : In that light, I don't see why you shouldn't live YOUR life to the full potential than to lose yourself in another person's life on a daily basis. Afterall, it's NONSENSICAL to care about an imaginary character when you don't give a damn about the hero of your own life, it's YOU, my friend. However, nothing beats the level of engagement in reading
